People who knew my mother have always told me how much I look like her, of course I could never see it. I have worn braces for the last 3 years, I had them removed yesterday. Today as I was looking in the mirror I saw my mother looking back at me and it made me smile bigger!
Sometimes people tell me that I look like my mom too. And I usually can't see it either, even though I love to hear that and hope it is true. Occasionally, I catch a sideways glance of myself in the mirror and see a glimpse of her, and it always fills me with a warm, loving feeling.
